New Real Estate Market Data for Fairhope, Alabama for The Year 2007!


The scenic city of Fairhope had a fairly good showing for real estate sales in 2007. During 2007 three hundred and three homes sold with an average sales price of $340,273. and a median sales price of $265,500. The days on the market for 2007 was 132 days compared with 84 days on the market for 2006, meaning it took 36% longer to sell homes in Fairhope in 2007 then in 2006.
In 2006 three hundred and nineteen homes sold in Fairhope with an average sales price of $309,875. and a median sales price of $247,900., even though the number of homes sold was down by 5% the average sales price went up 9%. This is good news for Fairhope, meaning their homes are holding their value. Homes are still selling in a short time as long as the condition, location and price are good. Homes that meet this criteria are being snapped up in quick order. Now is a great time to buy with interest rates still low and inventory high, making it a great buyer’s market.
