In a recent survey, Baldwin County Alabama ranked high, tying for second place, for the most successful micropolitan area in the nation.  The Conway Data New Plant Database conducted the survey and reported a related story in their March online edition of Site Selection.  This is the third year in a row that Baldwin County has been in the top 1 percent.  The major new and expanded projects reported for Baldwin County AL include Segers Aerospace in Fairhope, Marine specialty and Kelco Metals in Spanish Fort, and the CRC expansion in Robersdale, just to name a few; these projects account for 342 new jobs and $38 million in investments.
